I work at the Division of Processing and Research of the Icelandic Meteorological Office in Reykjavik. You can view the current weather in Iceland, as well as observations from Reykjavík for the past week. You should also look at my lightning information.

The charcaters Þ and ð in my name Þórður are the Icelandic characters thorn and eth, that used to be part of "Ye Olde English (Ye=Þe, pronounced The)" character set. Wikipedia describes the history of Thorn and Eth.

I live in Kópavogur, the nicest suburb of the capital Reykjavík in Iceland.
